Camden Clean Air invites you to its annual cycling event, the Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride!
Encouraging active travel has always been important to us at Camden Clean Air, and due to the pandemic, we saw a huge increase in the number of people taking up cycling. The Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride is a friendly, non-competitive bike ride for the whole community to take part in, regardless of fitness level, to celebrate cycling, cleaner air, and the beautiful sights of Camden.
The Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride 2022 was a 27km route around the borough that led riders through Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill, Regent’s Park, Fitzrovia, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, and many other iconic parts of Camden. The start and finish lines were in the beautiful development at Granary Square, thanks to the amazing support of the King’s Cross Estate. We had many cafés and bars signposted on the route, where riders could stop for refreshments, and fully recyclable medals were handed out to all those who completed the route.
We are already planning the Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride 2023 and will continue to improve the event following rider feedback. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear about news and updates on next year’s ride, including the new route and tickets.
We cannot deliver the Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride without the help of our amazing volunteers. We are looking for 2 types of volunteers:
- Riding Marshals to lead riders around the route
- Standing Marshals to point riders in the right direction
